    Yesterday Russia canceled the five-year lasting ban for the import of chicken from Ukraine. This news was announced by the head of the Russian Agricultural Supervision Service Sergey Dankvert, reports IA «OUR PRODUCT». According to him, the right to export products to the RF will be given only to those Ukrainian producers that underwent Russian certification and can meet their requirements. Dankver noticed that «only some of the enterprises are ready to meet the Russian requirements». As the reason he mentioned the fact that Ukraine brings its standards into compliance with the European ones whereas Russian ones differ from them.

    Thus, ready-made meat products may be supplied only by "Eliteks" LLC (Donetsk) from 1 July 2010. The right to supply poultry and raw poultry products was given to two companies – poultry farm "Snyatinskaya nova" (Snyatin, Ivano-Frankovsk region) and Mironovskara poultry farm (Cherkassy region).

    Recently «Bagnet» has informed that in near future Ukrainian enterprise producing dairy products are to expect Russian inspectors at their facilities. These inspections, to be carried out jointly with Ukrainian veterinary service, will identify the quality of Ukrainian products and will enable to open new markets.
