    According to calculations of Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, Ukraine will import approximately 100 thousands tons of pork in 2011.

    The Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food, Vladimir Ladyka, informed this to journalists.

    " During 2-3 years we are going to refuse to import meat at all, first of all to import pork and lard. It is predicted, that in 2011 we shall buy not more than 100 thousands tons", - said Ladyka.

    According to his speech, for today the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food calculate the balances of production and need of meat in the country.

    There is no correct prediction concerning the import of cattle and chicken meat for the moment.
